I can't think of much better than being outdoors at sunset. It's so romantic and honestly, just freaking beautiful. As a Boulder wedding photographer, I always work with some of the best couples during life's biggest milestones. When Catie and Andrew asked about sunset engagement photos, I couldn't say yes fast enough! From the lighting to the location, it was incredible. Golden Views + Epic Love
One of my favorite parts of outdoor engagement sessions is the ability to explore and adventure throughout the session. During Catie and Andrew's sunset engagement photos in Denver, we were able to experiment and explore multiple locations which allowed for various outfits and a whole lot of fun! These two were so cute together and you can tell their love is one for the ages. Throughout the session they were full of laughter and joking with one another, giddy about their next adventure together.
If your partner isn't too thrilled about engagement photos, plan an adventure as Catie and Andrew did! It makes for much more fun and builds excitement. Plan a picnic for during your photos or after, as a way to turn your photos into more of a date night than just photos.
A Romantic Sunset
Later once we had explored the location and made memories together, the sun began to set. I love the quiet moments between the pink skies and the sunset, it's such a beautiful time of the day. Catie and Andrew were able to get in the water and truly just enjoy themselves before it got too dark. It was a blast! Planning your engagements soon? Consider talking to your photographer about shooting around sunset, it's such an epic experience.
